Update v.3.0.8: Disabling the Enter key for saving
June 06, 2024 11:41am
Some reports indicated that certain scores were not correctly computed or summed up. Upon examining the database, it was discovered that the field for score accepted all types of input, including letters and characters, as scores. The "Enter" key was also saved in the database as "br". Consequently, the function that computes student grades could not interpret "br" as a number, leading to an error in the output. As a precautionary measure, the "Enter" key functionality for saving changes has now been disabled.
Update v.3.0.7: Bug in printing class record
May 21, 2024 12:50am
Mr. Retome reported a discrepancy between the data in the class record and its printable form, particularly for records categorized as percentages. The bug was caused by an oversight where the developer failed to replicate the source code of the class record for the printable form. This issue has now been resolved.
Update v.3.0.6: Signatories of printable form
May 21, 2024 12:46am
As requested by Ma'am Sarsale, the signatory for secondary department has been changed to Dr. Vangilit G. Retome, PhD.
Update v.3.0.5: Unupdatable final term criteria fixed
May 08, 2024 12:27am
It was reported by Mr. Retome that the criteria in final term record can not be updated, the bug has been successfully fixed after a series of testing.
Update v.3.0.4: Improving Auto-Save Functionality
March 01, 2024 07:48am
In an effort to resolve the issue where certain data was not being saved properly, the variable responsible for storing the changed data is now configured not to reset upon auto-save execution. This adjustment guarantees that all modified data remains stored within the variable and will consistently be included in subsequent iterations of the auto-save function. However there are two downsides of this adjustment: 1. The saving process may take longer as changes build-up. and 2. The system will always ask to click the save changes button when leaving the class record.
Update v.3.0.3: Enhanced System Secuirty
February 13, 2024 06:36am
To enhance the security, the system will now automatically save the location and IP address of the user.
Update v.3.0.2: Default score
February 12, 2024 10:16pm
Faculty can now set the default score of student in the adding record. This feature is helpful when checking attendance specially when all students are present. By setting default score as 1, all student will be automatically mark as present. This added feature is inline with the request of Ma'am Malazarte.
Update v.3.0.1 : Fixing bug on autosave function
February 12, 2024 09:03pm
As observed and reported by some faculty, there's a situation where only the initial digit gets saved by the autosave feature. After examining and performing tests, I found out that the bug is cause by the slow response of the server to the multiple JavaScript requests (because of the many changes in the class record). To address this, I have implemented two preventing measures:
1. All changes are now send to server at once.
2. Autosave will be perform after 3 seconds of the last key pressed.

I have tested this new algorithm for several times and it has a promising result. Nonetheless, I urge users to remain vigilant for any potential recurrence of the issue.
Major Updates
February 11, 2024 12:27pm
  • Autosave adjustment: To lessen the use bandwidth the system will now save any changes within 3 seconds interval. Unlike before, it save every time it detected a changes on the class record
  • Faster computation of student grade: For the same reason as the first one, the system will not anymore request to the server to compute the student grade instead the user' computer will perform the calculation. This method resulted into a faster display of student grades. Note: display of rating is currently underwork
  • Arrow up and arrow down: Faculty can now use the arrow up and arrow down to navigate from one cell to another. This feature is requested by Dr. Tatoy.
Record locking
February 09, 2024 09:26am
The faculty are now able to lock or unlock record to avoid accidentally edit the student data/score. This is requested by Ma'am Catherine Garcia.
Attention!
January 31, 2024 05:22am
The Hostinger, the hosting provider will conduct system maintenance on February 2, 2024 @ 5:00 AM and will last up to 1 hour. Hence, our class record will not be accessible during this maintenance. Sorry for this inconveniences.
Updates in Checking Attendance
January 29, 2024 09:46am
  1. Late mark- Faculty can now mark late student with letter `L` and `l` or by clock icon Note, the system will not deduct point in checking attendance, however it will score student zero (0) in record with raw score as input.
  2. Clicking order- Order of clicking attendance icon are now set to present, late, excuse, then absent.
The inclusion of late to the attendance is requested by Dr. Tatoy.
Option in Decimal Point
January 25, 2024 09:40pm
As requested by Dr. Melvin Sarsale, faculty are now able to choose number of decimal digit for weight. The options is only limited to 1 and 2.
New input type
January 25, 2024 08:33pm
As requested by sir Victor Retome, the class record can now accept a percentage input in student record. Meaning, the data will not subjected to the computation of passing percentage but rather will only sum up the scores, divide it by number of records, then multiply to the allocated percentage in criteria.
Example:
94% + 96% = 180% / 2 = 95% x allocated percentage in criteria.
Blank as default score
January 24, 2024 05:04pm
To lessen the possibility of making mistake while entering student`s score, the default score are now set to `blank`. This is a suggestion by the participants during the orientation.
Re-orientation on Computerized Class Record
January 17, 2024 07:00pm
The proposal for the Re-orientation on Computerized Class Record on January 24, 2024 @ 1:30 PM was approved. The venue will be in Multi-media room. All the end-users are hereby invited to attend the orientation. Please take note of the following:
  • Bring your own laptop with extension wire
  • Ensure your internet connection
  • No certificate will be given
  • Bring your own snack
Styling Cell
January 15, 2024 04:14pm
As requested and suggested by Dr. Tatoy, faculty has now the ability to color the cell`s background.
One time computation
January 15, 2024 05:18am
In the 3.0.0 version, the student grade computation and result storage process has been optimized to exclusively occur within the class record. Consequently, certain print-out documents will now retrieve data directly from the database without recompute. While this approach may introduce a slight loading time in the class record, it results in faster reloading of print-out documents.
Input for student` score
January 15, 2024 05:17am
As requested by KRISSANTO RAY MOGUEIS, the input for student' score is now back to text format. This will allow faculty to enter "E" or "e" for excused student and "A", "a", or just blank for absent student.
